Hello!
I am not able to install com_phocamaps_v3.0.1 on my site in Joomla! 3.3.1. I selected the file com_phocamaps_v3.0.1.zip and click on Install in extension manager, but i receive the output "error 404 Component not found".
In the db it creates the tables, etc. and in the webspace the folder are created and populated, but in the Joomla back-end nothing happen.
Anybody can help me?
Thanks.

Re: 404 Component not found on J3.3.1
Hi, try to recheck your Joomla! installation as components are fully installed by Joomla! extension manager.
Try to remove the component manually (Removing component from Joomla! system manually) and then try to install it again (this mostly helps)

Re: 404 Component not found on J3.3.1
I had this 404 problem and I was up against a wall.
I have migrated a 1.5 site to a 3.3 site using MigrateMe. The migration is going well in most respects. However every time I tried to install Phocagallery no matter how I tried, it got the Component Not Found error. All of the files were installed but there were no database entries.
I discovered that I could install Phocagallery in a fresh 3.3 Joomla site. Then I migrated the data using MigrateMe, and presto! it worked.
I hope this can help someone with a similar problem.
