download of files not working

Hello
I'm a newbie using phoca download on my website (built with Joomla 2.5.22)
I easily created categories (with all rights set to "registered users" and "special users") and then I uploaded a file (pdf) named "NABM2014"
I can see everything (catégories and file) in the frontend but when I try to download it, the only thing I get is an "error message".
so, what the matter with this?

Error meanwhile downloading of file. File not found at the server
I checked the server: the file is staying inside...

Hi, this seems like some broken link to the file. Try to add some new file and check if such can be downloaded. Did you change the path to files in Options?

I tried several times new uploads ; same error.
here are the options about path files
Download Folder= phocadownload
Download Folder (Play, Preview) phocadownloadpap

Hmm, when you see errorLog on your server, do you get any error there? When you enable debug mode in Joomla! and php error reporting, do you get any error message there?

I have n't error when debug mode is enabled.
I guess it should be shown in fronted?

So then try to see errorLog on your server, the error can be stored in errorLog. Mostly the errors are not displayed in frontend by such functions like download function is.

Hmmm, no error there
Did you ask your webhosting operator, if there are no limits regarding reading files on server
