Problem with the Code integration for the Plugin

Hi, settings in Joomla! are related to Itemid, so you can set only some settings in plugin, other settins will be get from main menu link to gallery (categories view). in fact this is a hack for joomla because Joomla! has only Itemid for menu links ... so if you will create menu link to category you get the settings from the Itemid which is related to phoca gallery component but plugin has no itemid, it is a part of content which has own Itemid ... so the solution can be hard coding the fixed itemid for plugin links if you want to use some parameters which you cannot add via plugin code ...
