Unique counter

hi Phoca Download Creator,

I allow all users (visitors) to download my files ( not registered, not logged )

I have observed that very often the counter registers many downloads (2,3,4....times) of the same file made from the same IP. If I
download a files two times (as anonymous with same IP address) the counter registers two downloads: ok.

Is there any options to set to force the counter to record a single download when referring to the same file with the same IP address ?

I am not able to find an answer in the forum !

Hi, this can happen, e.g. when user clicks two times on the link, etc. But for now there is no such option, to check the IPs and e.g. correct the download statistics so this needs to be customized
