Mime Type not found Error

Post by apollowebdes »

Hi, I am having an error with PhocoDownload. I have a series of categories and files to download. These files consist of Autocad design files for Architects. The system was working perfectly well until last week when I uploaded a new category and files. No I am getting this error:
Error while downloading file (Mime Type not found)

It is very frustrating and I dont know really where to start as it was all very functional. Anyone had a similar experience and had it resolved?

Hi, check the options, if the filetype is listed there

Which version of Phoca Download you are using, in lastest you can skip this control

Jan, yes all the file types are set up. as I mentioned, the whole setup was working great for a couple of months. Then I added some new files and a category and the error has started?

This is why I am so perplexed. I have used Phoco many times and this is the first time anything like this has occurred. I can even download PDF without getting the error.

Can you indicate where I can over ride these settings/skip control as you mentioned above? Does this mean no limitations of file types?

Thanks

Hi, in Phoca Download 3, you can skip it in Options.

When something changed on your server which caused stop it working, you need to ask your webhosting provider or adminstrator for the changes, I think
