Hello At All.
I have a problem with uploading images. Recently I installed PhocaGallery, the module was working very well. As I have inserted images and categories, the management page images in the back end has become increasingly slow until to give me a 500 error timeout.
I asked to my hosting service saying me that it is a known issue: there are too many images and the server goes into timeout. They tell me that might be caused by the fact that Joomla or Phoca all times i want to upload images makes a scan of files in images directory
It Is a known problem?
In fact I tried to rename the images folder into images1 and the page of images' upload in Phoca was loaded very quickly
Thankyou for reply

Re: Problem in Back end upload images
Hi, Phoca Gallery createas only 3 thumbnails per script... so there should not be problem with time...
If your server is slow or it has e.g. not enough memory or CPU, you should set yes for the following parameters in Parameters:
Pagination Thumbnail Creation
It will find only e.g. 20 filenames (if 20 is set for pagination), see description here:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... -menu-item
