First of all, I'd like to congratulate you, Jan, to this fantastic component!!! Bravo!!!

I have a few suggestions:

1. slide show functionality
- in the backend the time between the pictures of a slide show should be adjustable
- in the backend an option to show pictures in random order or not should be given

2. new feature to rate and comment pictures
- some other galleries provide a feature to comment or rate pictures. This would be a nice add-on for your component
- in the backend an option to turn on/off this feature should be made available on a category/gallery level

3. assign one picture to more than one gallery
- it would be convenient and save resources if one picture could be assigned to more than one gallery. Just imagine you were on a bike trip in Tirol. Some of the pictures you take might be categorized as both "bike" and "Tirol".

4. display access level
- it would be a plus to see the access level (public or registered) on the categories overview

------
I also found a bug:

The thumbnails and names of registered galleries should not be displayed for guests. A user that is not logged in gets a 403 error and cannot see the gallery. I would prefer that he does not see the thumbnail in the first place.

I hope these remarks can make Phoca Gallery even better. Thank you!

Hi,

1.
- ok
- ???

2. ???

3. you can assign pictures to more categories... no limits here

4. ???

Bug - if you speak about registered or not registered, you mean menu links maybe, so 403 is not produced by Phoca Gallery but by Menu link ...

----
??? means I am thinking about it...(how to solve it) ...

Hi, try new version (1.6.7)

* Added Public/Register/Special Access behaviour for categories. You can define that e.g. only registered users can see the category.
* Category can be displayed only for specifed user(s). You can define, that only User X or User Y can see the category.
* You can hide or display the back button in category view (e.g. if you use breadcrumbs).
* TinyMCE editor added into a description of an image. The text can be formatted.
