I tried PhocaPDF and I found it excellent. I'm experiencing a problem using it. I installed on Joomla 1.5.7 in local and I noticed that to see the header and footer in PDF that is created I have to disable the internal configuration of Joomla SEO and especially the vision of the URL suffix. Also if I activate sh404SEF component do not show header and footer.

Hi, can I see the site where this problem occurs... Displaying header and footer should be independent to URL ... if the PDF is displayed (url is OK) then everythink should be displayed ???

Thanks for the quick reply. The site, unfortunately I have only locally. I did some further testing and I found that with the Joomla SEO enabled the PDF of an article is created with the options chosen in PhocaPDF only if generated of the Home Page, while the PDF of an article generated in the inner pages is not to PhocaPDF, but the default Joomla. If I turn off the SEO, PhocaPDF create PDF by both the Home Page that any section or category inside.

Hi, please let me know the whole link which is created on non home site (link to the PDF)
Phoca PDF content plugin try to find the link with format=pdf and try to change it to format=phocapdf, so maybe there is some string in the link which cannot be converted

Your question: but why it is craeted this way ?
http://localhost/joomla/index.php/licenza-joomla.pdf
But "index.php" should be normal (or not?) when putting the mod_rewrite on NO?
In my first example below, with full Joomla SEO, is not "index.php" in INTERNAL PAGES but the PDF is not to PhocaPDF, but the default Joomla.
with full Joomla SEO:
HOME:
http://localhost/joomla/index.php?view= ... t=phocapdf
INTERNAL PAGES:
http://localhost/joomla/licenza-joomla.pdf
If I put on NO options Friendly URL or suffix URL with leaving activated mod_rewrite, the PDF of PhocaPDF is OK.
Perhaps the only problem is that work in local with Xampp. May be some option to edit the Apache in httpd.conf file? The .htaccess file is the one I use the default Joomla.
Repeat. If this problem I have only me, it's likely to disappear by working remotely...

Phoca PDF Content Plugin try to find this url: ...format=pdf and if it find some it changes it to format=phocapdf. This all should happen before JRoute will create SEO link, so maybe there can be some problem with creating SEO link from format=phocapdf

I have the same problem. I would like to use your PDF instead Joomla original 'cos it has more functionality, BUT I'm already noticed BIG problems:
1. Your Phoca PDF is Not working if SEF URLs are ON. Is it could be solved???
2. Your option for PDF file name doesn't work at all. Name is always from Article title. Strange for me.
3. Also I can't see Article Title / Author Name / Date in ready PDF document as it was in original Joomla PDF. Why???
Please, dear Jan, tell and advice something... I have a fight with your Phoca PDF for a 3 days already
