Question Ast

Post by Astrid »

Question Astrid:despite the fact that I have "show empty categories" on "No" they still show up. My menu links to the categories, but when you choose the Back-icon empty categories show up.

Question Jan:
Where did you change the 'show empty categories':
- in parameters component
- or in default settings
- in categories view
- or in category view ?

Answer Astrid:
I changed show empty categories in default settings and in menu parameters "use default". Can't see another location to change it.

Yes, empty category

Post by Jan »

Yes, empty category is not shown in categories view, but it is shown in tree... If you want to hide it, don't create empty categories... If the empty category serves as parent category, it is logical behaviour that the parent folder will be shown in tree...

Yes, if you have created a link to categories, parameters component in categories will override the default settings (if there is not use default)

OK. Thanks a lot. It's not a real problem. Just for the silly visitor that uses the back-arrow.

Thanks for all your quick answers!
