Question Astrid:despite the fact that I have "show empty categories" on "No" they still show up. My menu links to the categories, but when you choose the Back-icon empty categories show up.

- or in default settings
- in categories view
- or in category view ?

I changed show empty categories in default settings and in menu parameters "use default". Can't see another location to change it.

Yes, empty category is not shown in categories view, but it is shown in tree... If you want to hide it, don't create empty categories... If the empty category serves as parent category, it is logical behaviour that the parent folder will be shown in tree...
Yes, if you have created a link to categories, parameters component in categories will override the default settings (if there is not use default)
