Hello,
I'm working nder Joomla 3 and your extension Phocadownload. I put files of different types available to users according to their group . But they must first download and open them in a second time . Is it not possible that they are open immediately in the application defined by default? ( Reader for pdf, Word for Doc ... )
Thanks for your advice
Noël

Re: Auto opening files
Hi, when download function is used, then the files are downloaded immediately, when preview function is used, then it is opened in browser or default program - so enable preview function.

Re: Auto opening files
Hi, just select the file for preview in file edit (administration - editing of file) and then enable the preview button in Options.

Hi Jan
No doubt I'm the most dunce forum but I do not see where activate this button ; pages obtained by editing the options for files are in ab archive in this link
http://ndubau.free.fr/tempo/phoca.zip
Open my eyes please!
Noël
Edit : perhaps I found a solution putting on the option showed on http://ndubau.free.fr/tempo/phoca_optio ... direct.png ?
But the button stays "Download" and not "Preview" !

Re: Auto opening files
Hi, preview button is a button to preview the file (the file needs to be image or pdf), and you should set the file for preview.
Direct link - when you select the direct link, the URL (click on button) goes directly to the file and depends on user's OS how the file will be handled.
