[404] Dead image links?

Hi!
I just migrated from J2.5 to J3 and make a new installation of Phoca Download. When I access the component at the front end I get and 404 error for a image file.

I've done a quick look and found out, that no images folder exists under assets. So is this just a bug or have I done something wrong?

Hi,

Yes, you did something wrong, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/17-phoca- ... ng-folders
Phoca Download automatically creates following folders on your Joomla! site while installing:
- phocadownload - folder to store files to download
phocadownload/userupload - folder to store files uploaded by users
phocadownloadpap (since version 2.1.2) - folder to store files for preview and play
images/phocadownload - folder to store images and icons used in Phoca Download.
Kind regards,
Benno

Hello Benno,
can you explain what I've done wrong here? I just downloaded the last J3 release and installed it after the upgrade from 2.5. to 3.x? I deleted the component completely before the upgrade.

Hi,
sorry, I haven't read your post carefully enough ...

Yes, it seems that the path of the image is not correct.
The missing png is stored here: /media/com_phocadownload/images/grey-bg.png
/components/com_phocadownload/assets/images/grey-bg.png is a Phoca Download v2.x path.
Kind regards,
Benno

Hi, can I see the site where this occurs. In Phoca Download 3, there is no code, no CSS which calls the grey-bg.png

so maybe some obsolete CSS style on the site
