Hi,
Just started using the Phoca OpenGraph plugin and I' very happy with it. I also read this topic about some recent improvements viewtopic.php?f=33&t=33808&start=30. I'm very grateful to see you guys working so hard on this piece of free (!) software. Yet there's something I'd like to accomplish which, I think, is not possible at the moment. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I have a site that uses a lot of category blog views. On each blog view we have quite an extensive category description that serves as our "main" text about a topic, and the articles within the category serve as news updates. All categories have a category image as well (as set in the Options tab for the category). Yet it seems to me that the OpenGraph plugin picks a random image from the page instead of the category image. Is there a way to use the category image instead?
Kind regards, Frits

Re: Open Graph intro images also for Categories?
Hi, for not this needs to be customized:
1. the image is taken from plugin parameter
2. if not then from intro text of main article
3. if not then from fulltext of main article
4. if not then from article text.
I will try to take a look at it, to see if there is option to implement category image but not sure if this can be done as there is no category parameters inside the plugin, only the article parameters
