Hi guys,

I'm using Phoca Download and Smart Search component for one of my websites. I've got a problem with searching files uploaded with Phoca Download. All of my files got access set for registered users, but also they are set as visible to browse for all. As a guest I see all the files, but if I want to download them I need to login. Everything works fine here.
Problem is that my smart seatch doesn't see those files for registered users when user is not logged in. If files are set as visible, Smart Search should see them as well. Any idea how to fix it?

It's 2.1.9 version of Phoca Download and probably 1.0 of Phoca Download Finder Plugin.

When the user is not logged in, he/she is taken as public

Yes, not logged in user is taken as public and access of uploaded files is set for "registered". Anyway, smart search should see/show those files cause display inaccessible file is set to 'yes". For public, should be no access just for download.

Hi, still don't understand "should be no access just for download"?

Access = Download - means who has access, can download
Not logged in user - public users

If set in File edit, users can "see" file but cannot access it ("download/access")

So do you mean, that file which is not accessible but it is displayed for users, is not listed in search outcomes?

Hmmm, testing now and see it OK, the search plugin does not have any restriction to access, to it is normally listed in the outcomes

I'm using Smart Search with suggestions (also tried BT Smart Search based on that component). Joomla 2.5, Phoca Download 2.1.9. After I change any file access to Public, Smart Search sees these files in outcomes. If Registered, don't.

Hi, please let me know which plugin do you use there exactly?
