Cannot get Phoca SEF to work

Hi,
I've installed Phoca SEF OK but it is not logging any of the error 404 pages. Also I edited the error.php file as an core override like this: templates/template-name/html/libraries/joomla/error/error.php
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jan,
OK, I reinstalled Phoca SEF and amended the error.php file to include the new code.
Am I supposed to see error 404 pages being listed in Redirect Site so that I can redirect them?

Hi,
Still no luck with this component. It is set up OK but not adding error 404s to any database.
Has anyone else got the same problem or overcome this issue.

Hi,
Yes, I followed the links from within Google Webmaster Tools and this showed error 404 pages. But nothing is being recorded to the database and thus showing in Phoca "Obsolete Site"

Did you check the phoca sef tables in your database?

I am also having the same problem. It looks like mine was working after initial installation because there are 9 unpublished 404'd page in there, but ignoring those for a moment, when I try to manually create a redirect, I put the following into the form:
Obsolete site: sheep (for
http://www.foo.com/sheep/)
New Site: archives/sheep-tales.html (for
http://www.foo.com/archives/sheep-tales.html)
Published: Yes
(All parameters for component are set to "Yes" and the SEO settings under Joomla Global Config are all set to "Yes" and I have sh404SEF installed but not sure if that matters or not...)
I have edited the file mentioned above:
try to edit this file:
libraries/joomla/error/error.php
When I visit the site as
http://foo.com/sheep or
http://foo.com/sheep/ I just get a 404 error from Joomla, no redirect.

Hi, Phoca SEF works with standard Core SEF (I didn't test it with some other SEF component, maybe this can occur some problems because there can be some conflicts between two components which are taking care about redirects) Try to deactivate your sh404SEF (maybe uninstallation will be needed) to test it correctly.
