Phoca Download Search Plugin Not Working in Joomla 3.1.1

Post by muj »

Hi

I'm having trouble with phoca download search plug in v_3.1.0 configuration. it says "You have no rights to access this category" and cannot get access to the files link to download. My Joomla version is Joomla! 3.1.1 Stable, Phoca Download version isV 3.0.0

When the plug in is set to link File View and if I put the name of a file in Joomla search box it says
file14_v1_4ed.pdf (this a file in the Phoca Download V 3.0.0 files list)
File
You have no rights to access this category

When the plug in is set to link to Category View and if I put the name of a file in Joomla search box it shows the whole category as below

BOOK Annexes (name of phoca download category)
Annex 1
File01_.df
Download
Details
__
ANNEX 2
File02.pdf
Download
Details
--------
and shows everything in the category.

Any help on resolving this issue? Thanks in advance

Hi,
you're using the latest version of Phoca Download Search Plugin, but completely outdated versions of Phoca Download component and Joomla!
Try to upgrade Phoca Download & Joomla! to the latest versions.

Kind regards,
Benno

Tanks Benno

I have upgraded to latest version of Phocadownload but still the problem is not solved. Isn't thee a way out making it to work without upgrading joomla itself?

I have some limitation in upgrading Joomla right now

No. :?

Since your J 3.1.1 (and before) several security releases and/or bugs has been implemented! Such as:

Bug fixes:
J 3.4.3 etc.
Important Security releases:
J 3.4.2, J J 3.4.4, J 3.4.5, J 3.4.6, J 3.4.7

Latest version: 3.5.0 (also features changes etc) > 3.5.1 (bug fixes)

Example of important infos: https://docs.joomla.org/Security_hotfix ... L_versions

All News here: https://www.joomla.org/

Kind regards, Christine
