I have tried using Phoca Maps on a few websites and keep getting the same error as above using 3.0.3 version
on Joomla 3.XXX

Have been trying to find a solution. Went to google and have a API key but have no idea what file it needs to be inserted.
And I am assuming, it is a missing API that is the problem.

thanks for any help in this matter, I could use other google maps, but have enjoyed Phoca Maps...

Yes, I have read this thread several times, but like some of the other posters what file does the key need to be insert?

does, the key go into the head of the template?

Hi Jan,

thx for updating Phoca Maps! But there's still a problem with the loading process.
I'll see the map in the backend of Joomla, but in the frontend, the map won't load (only a grey background).

Do I need to create a special api-key at google? Google suggest me "browser or server key" - I've already created a key, but I don't know why this isn't working for me.

Do you have a solution for me?

I do have the same problem - I did enter an API Key and the backend shows everything just fine. But on the frontend it only shows a grey rectangle. Even worse - the border shows grey and white - there is no transparency. I don't use white as a background on my web site, so it looks ugly.

I also can not enter a percentage in the width field (I need 80-100% so the map fills the module position like I need it). It reverts back to px ?

Looking forward to a working version.

I could not see my API key being transmitted in the console ?
