Hi,
at first unzip the Phoca Download package locally on your computer. Inside you will find the directory:
  • language/en-GB
Included are the files:
  • en-GB.com_phocadownload.ini
    en-GB.com_phocadownload.sys.ini
You have to translate namely the right part of each string. (Text between the quotation marks).
Then you have to rename these two files to:
  • fr-FR.com_phocadownload.ini
    fr-FR..com_phocadownload.sys.ini
and upload them via FTP into your Joomla! language directory:
  • /language/fr-FR/
You can also take this package as a basis for your translation:
https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaDownloa ... ad-j3b.zip
But it is not fully up to date, that means, some strings will continue to be English. :(

Kind regards,
Benno

@salvo72
not sure what you mean.
If you mean the word description, yes, that would be translated with the language strings.
If you mean the description it self, no, that can not be translated by language strings because it's normally individual text.

Kind regards,
Benno
