Probems by a lot of pictures

First,sorry for my englisch

On my site www.schuumneuzen.nl i have al lot of pictures (1700) But now when i try to go on the backend my computer jams. It's not possible to go to the gallery button. when i try this it takes al lot of time en most the computer is not working.
please help!!

What does you computer do?

Do you get any error message?
Which version of Phoca Gallery do you have?
If you have a lot of images you should enable Pagination Thumbnail Creation.

Hello Jan,
I have version 1.6.0beta en i get no errors. The problem is i can't get to the page "gallery"add the back end. How can i get to the Pagination thumbnail creation?

First, you should upgrade to 1.6.4,
Second, you can enable Pagination thumbnail creation in default settigs... But as you said, you cannot get the Phoca Gallery view, so you must uninstall the component and install new...
