Hi,

I've set the Category to public and uploaded some pictures into it.. I've added the link in the menu which is public aswell.
When a unregistered person wants to see the pictures I get up this lightbox who shows the whole site in it and asks the user to login.

What am I missing here?

I've tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything on this.

you need to create a menu link somewhere to the gallery, so Phoca Gallery can take the links from there.

Okay. I've tried, and I cant get it to work.

I have a menulink to category view. I've published the plugin.

I can see the thumbnails as a guest, but not the full size picture.

When i login I can see the full size picture, but also a tripple "you need to login" message along with it.

is this menu item also open to public? or for registered only?
Could you give me the link to this menu item?

The link is celi.us/glenn - hence the frontpage of the site.
The menu item is public and the menu is published. (The menu is also public)

The link stored in the menu to the component is this:
index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=1

you're using SEF, so could you also give me the sef link?

I did some testing via the link you gave me, and when I hover over the pictures I see:
celi.us/glenn/forsiden/.... If I go to celi.us/glenn/forsiden I must login.

yes. /forsiden/ is the sef url to it. that and just / (landing page when typing celi.us/glenn/)

Is that what your wondering about, or am I missing something?

I solved it. It was my fault all the way.

I'm making the site for a client. And I wanted to have a own menu item for him to click on in his "admin module" to upload pictures etc etc.

I just copied the menu item and added a registered access level to it in the other menu. So it was a conflict between the link from the main menu, and the same menu in the "admin module".

It works now.
