Hi

I should mention that I am new to Joomla 1.5 and suspect that I have done something wrong I have read some post but am not finding and answer please help
Installation went smooth uploaded pic thumbs where created automatically and created category's I then created menu links in Main menu when clicking on the new menu links I get the following error in Firefox
The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Any idea's?

Hi, this should be a question for Joomla! ....

I think, maybe some files are missed in your Joomla! installation.. ???

Please let me know exactly, step by step, where the loop begin...

Hi Jan

Thank you for your fast response I have deleted all the new links in the main menu.
First I just would like to check with you if I go Components>Phoca Gallery>Gallery I see all the Thumbs and that is linked to the Category on the far right Colum in Phoca Gallery.
Also if I Components>Phoca Gallery>Categories I see my Categories published if I open one of the Categories and I am in Phoca Gallery Categories:[Edit] asks me for Select Parent Category what do I enter ? also in the description at the bottom it is blank

I close this and go Menu Item Manager:[mainmenu] >new>Menu Item:[new] >select Phoca Gallery>Phoca Gallery Category Layout>Parameters-Basic select category>enter Title>set parameters component>publish>save>front-end>click on new menu Item>error:The page isn't redirecting properly

If you don't select parent category, the category will be 'first level' cateogory....

Parent Category is blank ... it is ok
Description is blank ... ok too.

Let me know the link of new menu item... (right click on link and copy address of link)

Only idea, what I have is to reinstall Joomla!

This is a tall order well I will do it loose all my work and delete the whole Joomla installation and start again before I do it do you think this will work ??

So try only copy the files via FTP (no database changes) first...

Thanks I followed your advice and reinstalled Joomla 1.51, gallery working very nice just got one small problem with sh404sef

I get the following: Warning: explode() [function.explode]: Empty delimiter. in /home/sacredge/public_html/merkaba.co.za/components/com_sh404sef/shPageRewrite.php on line 137

Any ideas?
