Changing Googlemap language

Hello,

My goal is to have the embedded Gmaps in the appropriate language in a multilingual site. Ie. switched to German, the name of cities and countries in the Google maps should be in German and so on.

There is a "map language" field by general options but I couldn't make it work. Neither "DE" nor "german" nor "deutsch" would make the wished change in the map.

How can I change the map language?

Hello,

same issue, cant find where to change the maps language. Have installed the german language pack de-DE.com_phocamaps-j25-j3 but did'nt figure out where to select the language. All I found in control panel is a filter - but nothing to switch the language of the map.

Hello again,

first I thought I've solved it. when I select the map - going to publishing options, there I can select the language - selecting German (DE-CH-AT) and did even the same on all markers - then the german language was showed at the map in the control panel but sadly nothing changed in the map view at the page :/

maybe anybody else has an idea how to solve this issue.

Hi, did you try to test it e.g. in other browser - to see it is not rendered on your PC from some cache, etc.

Is the format for "de" right set in paramter?
