Theme not changing, and not restting

Hello,
I decided to try out some of the Gallery Theme's. I applied the "Responsive" theme, tested, and didn't notice or see any difference. Then I tried the "Dark Red" theme. That theme changed the size of my gallery icons, made them all small. Nothing else changed or looked different. I decided to reset everything by applying the "Restore Default Settings". Again, no change. The icons are still small. How do I get the gallery back to the way that it was?
Thanks
Daryl

Hi, which version of Phoca Gallery do you use? Dark theme is not available for Phoca Gallery 4, there is only one theme: Responsive. When you install it, the images should be able to resize when changing size of browser.

I'm not sure of the version off the top of my head, and I don't have access to the site at the moment to look, but I am assuming that it is the most recent version as I am using the most recent version of Joomla.
I started with "responsive", but did not see any difference. I can test it again later. But, I would like to get the gallery back to the default settings. I've tried "Restore Default Settings" and the "default theme", but as of right now, nothing works. All of the icons are small. What can I do?
Thank you
Daryl

Hello Jan,
I finally had a chance to confirm the version of Gallery that I am using, v4.3.1. I reinstalled "Responsive" theme, and then installed "Restore Default Settings". Things are still wrong. Icons are the wrong size, and if I try to change the "Display Number" to "5", I still see 20 on the page. Nothing changes. There is something wrong with the theme, and I need to set it back to default. How can I do that? Can I re-install Gallery and get everything back to the way it should be?
Thank you.
Daryl

Hello,
I am still not able to get the gallery to reset to the default settings. I've tried using the "Restore Default Settings", but that is not working. Is there anything else that I can do?
If I export the database, and reinstall Gallery, can I re-import the database and resolve this?
Thanks
Daryl

Hi, try to download the version for Phoca Gallery 4:
https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/3 ... ery-themes
There is only one responsive theme for Phoca Gallery 4. Mostly themes are replaced by CSS styling.
If this does not work, try to reinstall Phoca Gallery again (don't uninstall it, just install). When installing, data will stay, only new files will be uploaded.
Installing responsive theme means, a responsive CSS is installed (can be enabled/disabled in Styles) and some parameters will be changed.

Jan,
I reinstalled Gallery as you suggested. This did not fix my problem. The icons are still the wrong size. I made a mistake and installed a theme that did not work, but I really need to get this fixed. Is there something in the css that I can change that will resolve the icons sizes?
Thanks
Daryl

Hello,
I am still not able to rest the theme. Please look at these images, maybe they will help with you understanding my issue.
This is how they should look
Can someone please suggest a way to resolve this? Do I have to completely remove PhocaGallery and reinstall? If I save the database tables, can I re-import them after the reinstall and recover this?
Thank you.

Hi Daryl,
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... e-joomla-3 > Images And Detail Window Size Settings
Medium Image Width Set Medium Image Width (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)
Medium Image Height Set Medium Image Height (Be aware, change this parameter only before thumbnails creating, it means after installing Phoca Gallery before uploading and adding images into the categories)
it seems you have the m_thumbs 50x50. So, change it to: 100x100.
But: You have to delete the previous m_thumbnails via FTP and after changing your size, to re-create all thumbnails (each category) again.
Kind regards, Christine

Thank you Christine. I'll review this, make adjustments as you suggest, and post an update.
