Hi!
I wish to have the possibility, for my registred users, to download one specific file from their individual catalog.
It's a file that they have to edit by themselves.
The files are stored under a tree like this:

images/pictures/gittan
images/pictures/berra
images/pictures/kurt

And I only want them to see and download that specific file from their own catalogs.

Could you help me with that? I have te experience to edit php files but it is so complex and if You have a solution the I would be glad.

Hi, yes, for this you need to customize the code and the changes will be complex. In such case hard to give some clue advice what everything needs to be done

Is it possible to make a link to view/download file right from upload page?
That will be able to access users to their folders only.

Hi, urls are created by menu links in Joomla! so it depends on menu link which url the link to file gets Menu links you can create only in Joomla! menu manager

If you want to link a file directly, you can copy the link from administration - edit the file - Unique Download Link
