So now that I have been pointed to the tiny options button, I'm able to turn on comments. Problem is, it appears that a user can only enter one comment.

Question 1: Is there a way to get rid of the limit on comments.

Questions 2: How can I show the description and comments off to the side of the photo similar to the way facebook displays pictures.

If this can't be done in phoca, is there a plugin that may help? Last option (G-d forbid) is there a replacement to phoca that will do what I want?

1) to display or add more comments for the user, you can enable external comments: JComments or Facebook comments

ok, so if I understand, to get more than one comment in a thread, I need to install and external program? Ccomments doesn't seem to be an option. I'll take a look at jcomments.

Meantime, I activated multibox (I thought) but it still doesn't seem to be working. I selected yes to enable it and specified a couple of fields to display, but they are not showing up. kept the defaults for all the others.

I've installed jcomment and it looks like that's going to do the trick. Now, to get my gallery to look like facebook.
