Mailing List Description Use

Each Mailinglist has a Title and Description. Is there any use for the Description? A standard Joomla editor text box is provided and can be filled with text, images and links. etc. Where can this data be displayed?

Hi, for now, the description is not used. But it can be e.g. if somebody extends the features, like displaying the mailing lists information.
