Hi all.
Setting up a new site, I'm having troubles uploading files from frontend. I get the "File not uploaded. You are not authorized to upload file"-error.
I've been around this forum, and I'm pretty sure I've got all the user rights and settings correct. But beeing a new site, I use joomla 3.7.0 - could that be the problem?

Hi, testing not, don't get any such problem. Is your setting the same like on screenshot:

If you look into errorLog, is there any error?

Hi, no
Access is set to a specific group. I want to use Phoca Download, så that each category, is only accessable to one user group (usergroups can contain lots of users, why the setting og access- upload and delete rights can't be handled on an individual user level.

Hi, access you can set for group, see the screenshot, there is:
Access: you can set group
Access Rights: you can specify the access to each user (the "access rights" extends the "access")
Upload and delete rights are only assigned to each user.
