photos not appearing after upload

Hi:

I created at category called 'Terra Nova', I then uploaded photos to that folder and they uploaded fine. However, when I go to the page it says 'There is no image in this category'. I looked in the media library and the photos are there under the correct folder. But when I go to the images in the gallery control panel, under the category, no images show up.

Any insight on this would be most appreciated.
