Category links and upload, weird problems

Hi,
I installed Phoca Download 3.1.3 to Joomla 3.7.4.

Then I created two categories in Phoca, set the access/upload/delete rights to registered members.
Next I created 2 menu items: one fof List of Categories and second for User Upload
So far so good, but..
List of Categories shows those two categories (no files so far). The User Upload responds with "User upload disabled". What setting is missing?

Second issue: the links in List of Categories view look strange. clicking the cateory title:
Not Found
The requested URL /<mainmenuitemname>/<submenuitemname>/category/2-<category-id> was not found on this server. (Number is either 1 or 2, depending on the selected category)

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Does Phoca require to haveat least one file in a category in order to work?
Why the category link is dependent on menu item names?

Hi,

The User Upload responds with "User upload disabled". What setting is missing?

backend --> Components --> Phoca Download --> Control Panel --> Options --> Upload --> Enable User Upload=Yes

Hi Benno,
Uploads view has no users to enable, list has only heading row (3 columns, User and 2 cols for authorized/non authorized files)

Hi, user upload:
- it needs to be enabled in Options
- when you access the user upload menu link, you need to be logged in
- only users who are logged it and have rights to upload to some category can see in user upload the category where to upload.
