Zoom-Level? LOD?

Hi folks,

where do I define a zoom level in KML-Files? In the backend of PM I can set a zoom level, but without any effect.
Also, there is no LOD in my .kml files defined, i.e. " <minLodPixels>128</minLodPixels>". If I edit the file and add a level of detail, nothing happens also.
