Problems with loading kml file

I am using Joomla 3.8.13
I am using PhocaMap 3.0.5
I have setup the following parameters:
- Sytem->Global Configuration->Phoca Maps->Google Maps->Enable KML File Loading-> Yes
- Components->Phoca Maps->Maps->Ito City->Advanced Settings (Google Maps)->KML File->Kihachi-Ramen.kml
I have uploaded the file Kihachi-Ramen.kml to website/phocamapskml/Kihachi-Ramen.kml

I assumed that if you are loading a kml file, coordinates are not required as they would be included in the kml file but apparently not as the following message is displayed:
"Google Maps Error - Check latitude and longitude values in Map Settings"

So after setting coordinates for the area, the map of the area is displayed but the kml content is not.

I have been wrestling with this for the past two days and have yet to find a solution, one that is probably extremely simple and will make me terribly embarrassed I am sure....

I would be greatful for any help someone can provide.
