I have a website with Joomla 2.5 and now I have switched to SSL. But the video stopped working.
Example:

https://www.hotove-pergoly.sk/
(White blank space under the heading "Chráňte sa pred slnkom našimi pergolami")

I updated phoca to the latest version, but it did not help.

Console writes:
"Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.hotove-pergoly.sk/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure plugin resource 'http://www.youtube.com/embed/mbFwlPRPhMM'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS."

I have this in my article:
{phocadownload view=youtube|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbFwlPRPhMM}

Do not know where the problem might be?

Hi, I would say, the problem is, you are using obsolete Joomla! version (2.5). For now I don't know it exactly but seems like the obsolete Phoca Download plugin does not use https.

So you can:
a) upgrade to Joomla! 3.9.x and to the latest Phoca Download component and plugin (3.1.7)
b) or you need to customize the obsolete Phoca Download plugin and change the http to https there.

(Latest Joomla! 2.5 Phoca Download version is 6 years old, so even you will update this version on your Joomla! 2.5, it is 6 years old. Latest Joomla! 3.9 Phoca Download version is some days old, so it is recommended to upgrade mainly your Joomla! to 3.9)
