Hi John,

"Using $this when not in object context" mostly depends on PHP Version.(or in the past: Template Menues problems).
But, as you are using Protostar, it should be OK.

BTW: You should create a user.css, e.g. for CSS amendments etc. And/or: To avoid override of changed Stils of your template (core update), you could make a Template copy of Protostar (new name).

Check, if you hv installed the latest Phoca Download version: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/ ... -component

Kind regards
Christine

Thanks Christine.
As far as I can see I am on the latest version (3.1.9)

I don't know whether this helps but the menu url

http://www.gwentlmc.org.uk/index.php/re ... ewsletters

brings back the error, but if I use the url in the menu item configuration

index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&id=2

ie

http://www.gwentlmc.org.uk/index.php?op ... egory&id=2

it works. What would that imply please, do you know?

best regards

John

Hi, enable debug mode in your Joomla! Global configuration so the error message will be completely listed (including the file and row of the error)

Hi, are you really sure, you run the latest module Phoca Download Tree module? There is no such line in 3.1.7 which is displayed in the error message.
