Is it possible to apply upload permissions to subcategories or is it necessary to configure categories individually?

For example, in a structure:

• Documents
  • Formats
    • Public
      Private
    Policies
    • Public
      Private
  If a user can upload in all those categories, what is the best way to configure it?

Hi, in Phoca Download you can set the rights for categories and it does not matter if such category is a parent category or subcategory. So just set upload rights for each category (even it is a subcategory) for such user.

Hi, no, there is no inherit feature, each category has own rights.
