Hi, Phoca SEF works with core SEF enabled. So if e.g. some links goes to 404 and you have specifed it in Phoca SEF and enabled, then it will be redirect to new one. In case Phoca SEF is enabled, installed and there were done the changes in 404 of core Joomla!:
