I am currently using the Phoca Download extension on my site, but I want the files in a given phoca download archive to be searchable by name (and ideally tag as well but that is not the main thing, searchable only by filename will be ok if that is all there is).
I found the "Phoca Download Search Plugin" which might be what I am looking for but if there was a setting or something I could enable that would be better. Do I need to install that extra extension or can I turn on searchability with the Phoca Downloads plugin I already have?

Hi,
there are two already in Joomla! built-in search components: Search and Smart Search. With both your project is feasible. But you have to install and activate one plugin for both components, so that Phoca download files can be found.
