Asking for help about e-mail sending

Hi Jan,

I would like to ask for your help concerning email sending.

I’m setting a small webshop with Phoca Cart 3.5.0 on https://balazsfulei.com/disc-ordering.

Your extension works wonderfully, except one problem:


When I order or change status of an order on the admin page (with the notice checkboxes checked), the emails aren’t sended or received, even though I enabled the email sending to customers, filled up content and footer boxes with text, and put in email addresses for the others, both in Pending and Completed status.
There is also an AcyMailing on the page used for sending newsletters which works properly.

Can you help me repair this problem?

I have similar problem. Other mails are sent but the customer is not receiving updates on order status changes. Phoca Cart 3.5.1

In fact they are sent. I was logged as Superuser in both admin and frontend, making orders from the Superuser account (who was set also as vendor). Logging in as different user and making order - everything worked for now.

Did you test to send standard Joomla! email. Phoca Cart emails are sent by Joomla! methods, so try to check the Joomla! email options. :idea: (it can even be possible that the email newsletter component has specific settings for emails :idea: )
