Hello,
I am meeting the following issue with Phoca download:
after a file upload, I am not able to download this file excepted if I set manually "Direct Link" parameter to "yes" which is not manageable with a big numbers os users. Please, would you have an explanation or a fix ?

Hi, why you cannot download it? Where? In frontend? Do you get any error when downloading it? What are the access rights to this file?

I can't download files at front end ie as a user just wanting to read a published document.
Yes, An error message occured the only the very FIRST time I tried to download the file but I had not time to catch a screen shot, because unfortunatly it disappeared quickly and did appeared again after...
About access rights, I verified the phocaupload directory in destination of upload profile had read rights

Information more: I have not the same issue with PDF files which I can open without problem.
I would have one question: when clicking to an uploaded Word file or PDF file, is there any parameter inside Phoca Download which indicates the application (so Microsoft Office Word, .. or Acrobat Reader PDF) to associate to this file ?

did you already try to set: Ignore File Types Checking=Yes
in Phoca Download Options for testing?
