Main category description is not displayed in different languages

Hi there,
I use Phoca Cart in a multi-language version, German and English. Everything works fine.

My only problem is that the main category description is only shown in german. I created a german and an english article for that and made a language assignment between both. I chose the german article in Phoca's Options>Display>General Display Options>Main Category Descrition.

I thought that, if the site is set to "English", only the english article is shown. But that doesn't work. I only see the german one.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi, which method for multilanguage support do you use?

Standard Joomla!, Falang or Multilanguages CK?

I use Standard Joomla.

Hi, you can use only one description for the main page (categories view), in such case it is maybe better to use the Multilanguages CK plugin and paste all languages to one article

It can be used parallel to standard Joomla! multilanguage feature
