Updating Phoca Cart

Hi
I have a old version of Phoca Cart (3.0.0 RC6)!
Wen I try to update to the latest release i get some SQL errors and when I open the Phoca cart catalog in rhe site I get:
"1054 unknown column 'c.icon class' in 'field list' phoca cart"
I just roll back the instalation!

Is there a easy way to update to newer versions without getting those errors
