broken links to gallery after update

Dear all

I have to configure every link to a Phoca Gallery after every update. The last few days - many versions where released. So I did an update of the phoca gallery every time. By testing the new functions, I mentioned, that every link to a gallery is broken - a 404 page appears. So I have to go to the menu manager in the backend, click on a menu entrie to a gallery and save it. After that (dont't have to change something in the menu configuration!) it works.
The typ of the menu entry is (after the update): >> Kategorien

After open menu entry and save it, typ is Phoca Gallery Ã‚Å¥ Kategorien

I'm useing Joomla 1.5.2 and the newest Phoca Gallery 1.6.8.

Any ideas?!

Hi, I don't understand ... did the re-save of the link help or didn't?

I have the same problem. The upgrade breaks the links. I "Edit" the menu item which links to the gallery and save it with no changes. The link is then fixed and works correctly.

Jan: Resaving the link fixes the problem for me.

Hi all, this is a known issue (The method 'upgrade' is not 100% ready in Joomla!, so after every update the links must be re-saved... - see: https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/user-m ... ex.php#a10)

Hello to all

Yes Jan, Resaving the link to the gallery fiexes the problem - for me too.
Ok, I don't have so many links to galleries So thanks for the link to the referring part in the user manual of the phoca gallery - it's exactely this topic!

I'm useing the SEF of Joomla 1.5.x
