Hello,
i would like to have a minimized shopping cart in the main menu section.
i see other site's / demo's with Phoca Cart that have only a cart logo with a item count..
the only option i see is the cart module.. but i can not / don't know how to minimize it to min. information.

That depends on which frontend template you are using. As an example, check out the articles for the Astroid and Gantry5 Templates.
