It gives access to content i don't want to be downloaded, just a pre-listening.

Ok i have the HTML5 player on yes, this seems not to change a thing.
I'm wondering if the actual download will still work if I put mp3 to disallowe for download.
As now only a preview is played, i don't want that to be downloaded.
The other download are linked via Pay per Download (well not all, some are free) so that has to keep working.
Anyway did not made any money yet, hahaha, but it would be nice if it worked, so that the preview can't be downloaded.

Hi,

in Phoca Download you can use two files:
- one for preview/play
- second for download

So you have one one file for public preview/play and second for download - after login

exactly. The one for download is downloaded via the Pay for download plugin (paid or free), this works correct.
But the preview/play is downloadable via the the 3 dots. This is unwanted behavior.

Hi, I don't know what do you mean with 3 dots, but if some file can be played or previewed, it is in fact in visitor computer yet. All images/files/videos you watching in your browser are displayed for you from your computer (they were downloaded to your computer and displayed in your browser). So everything you will publish on your site can be displayed/downloaded in user's browser. This is why there are two paths - one for download (not accessible) second for play/preview (accessible). So if you let users to see some file this means that you let them even to download it. Without downloading it will be not displayed for them.

But this is in fact something, which is not related to Phoca Download but to common internet features

Please see the image i attached in the 1st post.

ok i understand.
It was just to remove the possibility to see a download link for the preview file.
Not everyone(read the average internet surfer) knows that something is actually downloaded before it is displayed.
