Feature request - Support of SVG images

please add support of SVG images for logo, product images, invoices etc..

Hi,

it is in feature request list, I wanted to add them sooner, but it is not so easy with SVGs as images - possible security problem when uploading them, possible conflict with different sizes, possible problems with displaying them in image popups, possible problems with setting unique sizes for them, etc. etc. SVG is in fact code like HTML so most design parts are set directly in the format and then it is harder to manage it from outside. When we have standard images, we just say - all medium images will be e.g. 300px x 300px and it is (if source is larger than it will be resized, if source has different ratio them some side will be just cropped, etc. - so we can achieve that all images will have the same size - which is important by responsive design because you don't set the size in code) ... and all this is problematic by SVGs - SVGs are great and you need to care about their format in SVG and the automatic way to make all images unique is harder there.
