In Upload page, the category dropdown is displayed fine on Mozilla. But on Chrome, it doesn't displayed well.

What sould we do in order on Chrome appear like on Mozilla?

Hi, it is just standard select box, so the design of it seems to be a browser feature - hard to say which feature is used for long names in selecboxes by browsers.

Unfortunately, there is no way to influence it (if we are not talking about specififc javascript features like chosen library, etc. etc.)

As it looks on Mozilla, is perfect.
The problem is on Chrome and on Edge.

Hi, this is much more a question on Chrome or Edge (both Chromium project) developers

You can influence it only when you will use some specific library like chosen is, which will change select boxes to specific format (e.g. in administration of Joomla, chosen library is used)
