More then one download e.g manuals - not displayed

I can define a Download in the Main tab of the Product Edit area. Fine, this is displayed as expected. If I add more downloads in the Download-Optionen tab, these are not displayed. I guess this is my fault, but where can I activate the display of more than one download for a product? We have several manuals which people should be able to donwload.

Hi, which download do you mean, can you paste a screenshot? Do you mean the public download (displayed on product page) or download after purchase?

I´ve seen the field for public download in the main view, and if I add a download there, it is displayed, but I need more than one download.
I am using Phoca Cart as Catalogue only in this example without any option to buy products.

One workaround might be to use a seperate download manager and fill in Download-Links in the product description, but maybe there is a smarter way?

Hi, yes, there is only one public download link, so the soulution can be:

- zip all files to one public downloadable ZIP
- or add to description e.g. Phoca Download content plugin code to have more downloads there.

Okidoki, so it would be cool to have that as a feature for an update. With this Phoca Cart becomes the perfect catalog/produkt display solution for manufacturers.

And one more question: Is there a soltuion, to have these seperate download, that I will setup with Phoca Downloads in an own Tab which is named "Downloads"? This would be perfect.

Hi, even here, there is no direct way, but there are more possible solutions:

- for example, you don't use the feature field, so you will paste the phoca download plugin in feature description and you will rename the "features" tab name to e.g. "Downloads" ... in language override of Joomla

- or you will write own tab plugin. In Phoca Cart you can add new tabs with help of plugins, so the tab count is not limited and can be extended through plugins ...
