How to connect POS

Hi there. I have a POS and I would like to link it to Phoca cart. The service gives me an application key (MID) and a shared secret key. They told me to implement them into the application I use. Is there a field I can add these keys in order to connect the component with my POS? I'm totally lost.
Thanks for helping!

the working of POS with Phoca Cart is to use the webinterface and user with POS rights.
that's the way Phoca Cart POS works as far as i know.
do you mean you have a hardware based POS that you would like to connect with phoca Cart webshop?

I was told by the bank that I need to connect the POS keys to my eshop, not the IBAN in order to make the payments work... I don't know if this makes any sense.

Do you mean a payment console (because the bank told you)..
You want to have a pay device (card transactions) connected with Phoca cart?...
POS is Point of Sale.
The payment device you need to connect to the POS device.. and pos device is connected to phoca cart..
If you ise a pc as POS .. the payment module is a device on you pc..
Same as barcode scanner..

Sorry totally lost, it's my first time to attempt bank connection! Is there a tutorial with the standard procedure? My bank insists that it has to be connected with cardlink ( developer.cardlink.gr/)

POS and Bank are to different items.
POS = Point of sale (lets say virtual kassier).
connection to the bank for payments you need to have payment plugins of the bank and / or payment service provider.
PSP in general is cheaper then the bank.

From my understanding Cardlink is the software the POS uses and the bank insists that the e-shop must be connected to it via a plugin - it seems they need to have all transactions executed through Cardlink. I have found a similar plugin for virtuemart but unfortunately not for phoca cart...
