404 Error in J4 Alpha

Hi,

I am using Phoca-Download 4.0.0Alpha8 with Joomla 4.0.3. All fine so far in the setup. However, when selecting a category in frontend I only get a 404 error (no matter whether there is a file in the category so far or not.

- Category overview shows there is a file in the category
- The file is even displayed as most downloaded (but can also not be access directly)

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

sure I did: https://test.applicatio.com/de/sonstige ... wnloads-de (in the meu on the left underneath "Misc")... only in the German version so far.

Any other ideas? (I love the component and would not want to replace it just because I am too stupid to find my own mistake)

Can you paste an example of the link here, which produces 404?

Is this this URL? test.applicatio.com/de/sonstiges-de/downloads-de

What is the alias of category and alias of file? What is the menu link alias?

Hi Jan,

thanks for coming back to me. Here is the requested information:

- URL for Category overview is https://test.applicatio.com/de/sonstige ... wnloads-de (was deactivated for some time)
- Alias of that menu link is: downloads-de
- URL that produces 404 is: https://test.applicatio.com/de/sonstige ... licatio-de (which would be one of the categories in which there is a file
- alias of that category is: applicatio-de
- Alias if file is: brochure
