today I discoverd, that PhocaPDF System Plugin 3.0.12 with Phoca PDF Content Plugin 3.0.12 and PhocPDF Component 3.0.12 is not working anymore with Joomla! 3.10.4 on https://www.edf-jets.de

If you klick on PDF icon in article view no PDF is generated. It only opens a popup with the component view of the article, like https://www.edf-jets.de/news/416-e-flit ... =component

But there should open the generated PDF file!

Can you please discover the problem and make the three mentioned extensions Joomla! 3.10.x compatible again?

Hi, does it work for your when you disable SEF (for testing purposes only)? I am testing version 3.0.12 on 3.10 and see no problems. Testing on two different 3.10 servers and it works OK there.

yes, it works with SEF completely disabled, but with SEF on and a standard 3.10.5 .htaccess file it does not work. In the popup there is no &format=pdf at the end of the URL!!!

Hi, as you can see from the screenshot, the link is SEF with enabled .htaccess:

J3102/article?tmpl=component&format=pdf

(you can see that there is no index.php, the "article" is menu link to article and both suffixes (tmpl and format) are generally not transformed to SEF link.

So the question is, why your system skips the needed parameters there Do you use standard SEF?

Hello, thank you for your investigations.

SEF settings are the following:

Search Engine Friendly URLs -> yes
Use URL Rewriting -> yes
Add Suffix to URL -> yes
Unicode Aliases -> no

I allready testet functionality with disabled system plugins one by one, but it seems that there is no extension that interferes.

PHP version is 7.4. 5.7.36

Hi, try to check the system plugins, try to see if e.g. admin tools does not prevent from running some parts.

What is the URL when SEF is disabled?

Thank you, now I found the plugin that has caused the problem: https://it-conserv.de/joomla/plugins/scroll2top.html

After deaktivating that plugin, everything is working normally.

Yes, it was version 1.5.0 that caused the problem, but now I only used the js und css und html output of that plugin directly integrated in my template without the plugin installed. With installed and activated plugin the problem occurs! Not only that PhocaPDF functioned no more, but the output of $this->language in another multilanguage site was malfunctioning, it only outputs the standard language "de-de", even if you are on the english part of the website, where the output has to be "en-gb". Maybe there is something wrong with the routing of that plugin.

OK - that sounds strange. The $this->language is not used in the plugin at all because it is not relevant for the function.

I will try to recreate it. But we shouldn't look at it any further here in the forum. It's a different problem and not one of PhocaPDF. If you have problems with it, you can also write to me by e-mail.
