Translate only the client interface of Phoca Cart

Hello Phoca Team,

Please tell me if it is possible to translate only the language strings used in the client interface of the Phoca Cart (the frontend) and if the language strings for the client interface are separated from the language strings of the admin interface of the component (the back-end).

The component is great but it is difficult to translate it completely (client interface and admin interface) so it will be great to have the possibility to translate only the client interface.

Hi,
no, unfortunately this is not possible. The two language files
en-GB.com_phocacart.ini
and
en-GB.com_phocacart.sys.ini
contain all language strings for front- and backend view only sorted by versions.

BTW if you have problem with translating large files, try to use some automatic translation. Mostly such translation is usable and you can then correct only selected strings (if the translation is not OK)

It is even in fact hard to divide the translation into frontend and backend as a lot of strings are used in frontend and backend.
