Free Download file

Good morning. I would like to raise a question that is literally driving me crazy ...

I have a catalog of images for sale but I have decided that a series of these images can be freely downloaded by users who decide to register on the site. In practice, the user who decides to register finds 5 free images in his Download Menu automatically.

The images must be available for download directly in the photo cards without going through the Cart and without checkout. The photos must be visible to the whole public but downloadable only to the group of registered users.

I need a little help as I can't fix this.

I use Joomla 4.0.6 and Phoca Cart 4.0.0 :x

Hi, if there is no need to use checkout, etc, why not use Phoca Download for this. Just set the access rights for categories for registered users.

The Italian translation does not work. The error message says that the Manifest file is missing

Hi, then try to install it the old way (just copy the files to language folder):

Hi Jan, I followed the instructions of the link you attached to me but unfortunately PhocaDownload does not speak to me in Italian :-), I checked the translations and they are from June 2011 maybe a little old ... the other translation is for J2, 5/3. I am working with J4 and your 4 versions (Cart & Download). English is fine for me too but someone else might not like that the translation doesn't work ...

Hi, the J2.5/3 translation can work in Joomla 4 but of course if it is not updated it needs to be updated to see all the translated strings
